How To Choose The Best Air Cleaners

By: Ras Reed

It is becoming increasingly difficult to select the right air cleaner. The explanation is not far fetched. There are so several brands of air cleaners out there that an average buyer finds it hard to select the right one. The dilemma is further compounded by the fact that the real ones exist side by side with the fake ones. This script will furnish you with helpful advice to discern the right one from the wrong one. I will show you some terms you should look out for when shopping for air cleaners either locally or on the information superhighway.

HEPA
This stands for High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance. This term is also seen as the industry standard. In other words, if the air cleaner you want to pay money for does not have this term on it, it is wise that you stay from it. HEPA is enormously respected as any air cleaner with it indicate that it has the ability to get rid of about 99.97% pollutants in the air.

OEM
This term stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. In a layman’s language, it simply indicate that you should obtain your replacement parts from the same manufacturer that made the air cleaner. This ensures that the device continues to work optimally for you and the purpose for which it was obtained. In other words, you are not being smart by obtaining the replacement parts from another manufacturer. What you are obtaining may not work well with the device you have at hand. It will save you lots of money when you obtain from the original manufacturer. In addition, you are sure to get real replacement parts from the original manufacturer than from another manufacturer.

CADR
This stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate. It is indicated by a number. It is used to represent the volume of filtered air for dust, pollen and cigarette smoke. The higher the number, the better the air cleaner’s ability to effectively get rid of the afore-mentioned air pollutants.

However, let me point out that this is not an exhaustive list of the terms but these are the most indispensable you should look out for. When you take these advice into consideration, you won’t have difficulty obtaining the right air cleaners.
