I have been suffering from bad headaches for some time, yet thus far have been unable to find any sort of migraine relief. Yes, there are some things that will provide kind of partial migraine headache relief. I can sit in a dark room, trying to lay absolutely still and silent, and somehow, the pounding will lessen, but even if I do, the pain can take a very long time to go away. I have searched all over for some sort of migraine relief, but so far my search was not successful at all.
It would be difficult for you to really understand how important the search for good migraine relief is if you have never had a migraine headache. A migraine will begin as a little fuzzy dot in the center of your vision. It then slowly expands outward, farther and farther, until it comes to totally fill your entire field of vision. That is when the pain starts. You can never imagine how terrible is that pain, and it seems like your head is splitting apart. You feel dizzy and nauseous, and all kind of sound or light is completely unbearable. I would almost sell my soul to get some migraine relief when that happens. The pain is so bad that for a good long time, the only thing that counts is migraine relief.
To this date, there are still some migraine relief options which I have yet to try even though I tried most of the migraine medications available. I have met chiropractors who assert that they can heal migraines by simply manipulating the spine and the nearby muscles, but let's say that I am still a bit sceptical. I mean, if migraine relief were indeed so easy to do, wouldn't everyone be using those methods instead of drugs which only work for some people, and take a lot of time to just kick in? I can not see why there would be any kind of migraine relief period if it were possible to get rid of these terrible headaches with no pills, no pain, and zero inconvenience? Who would not go to a chiropractor if they could really prevent them from having a migraine? I suppose it would be worth trying to have migraine relief that way, but I doubt that it will work.
I found out with the years that my migraine headaches started when I had greasy foods, sugar, chocolate or too much coffee. You have to find out for yourself what is your migraine trigger. Observe what you eat for a few weeks. Stress is obviously a migraine factor. In other word, before you run to the pharmacy to find a cure for migraine relief, think of what the cause could be and you will be glad you did believe me!
